Walmart Fall Clothing Haul and Fall Outfit Ideas
You don’t have to break the bank in order to dress cute for fall. Walmart has officially dropped cute and affordable fall pieces. If you’re looking to add a few more fall clothing pieces into your wardrobe without hurting your wallet, I’m showing you guys my 2021 fall Walmart clothing haul.
Let me share a few tips and tricks when it comes to the art of shopping at Walmart. Yes, Walmart may feel like it’s an unorganized mess, and yes, it can feel very overwhelming. The good news is that it is possible to find really solid, awesome pieces.
Tip Number One: Find Inspiration
Not sure of what you’re looking for or where to even begin? Start with your phone. If you’re a little lost on knowing where to start, you can look for inspiration on Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube. Grab your notes app and jot down the items you want to pick up along with screenshots of any inspo that’s your style. When you have an idea of the things you need, it’s easier to sift through the clothes, accessories, and all of the other sections in Walmart.

Tip number two: Stock Up On Basics
My fall wardrobe tends to consist of a lot of comfort and basic pieces. The great thing about Walmart is that there are many affordable basic pieces you can stock up on. Turtleneck sweaters, mock turtleneck sweaters, crewnecks, and basic t’s are available in multiple colors. These are the basic staple pieces you can start any outfit with, and then add your fall layering touches.
Tip Number Three: Look at All of the Sections!
Last year I found one of the most perfect pair of girlfriend jeans for $10… at the men’s section at Walmart (shoutout to TikTok for this find). This year I also found a nice flannel under $10 in the same section. Lesson learned: don’t neglect the men’s section. You can’t forget about the accessories either. When your outfit consists of simple, basic pieces, accessories are going to spice up your outfit. There are also hats, scarves, shoes, and bags to complete your look.

Tip number four: Solid Colors, Plaid, and Animal Print
A rule of thumb for shopping for basic pieces is to stick with solid colors. It’s easier to work with solid basics, making it simple to put together outfits (great for beginners). If you want to add a bit more (pumpkin) spice, incorporate plaid (the unofficial pattern of fall) and animal print into your look.
