When people were raving about the Spanx faux leather leggings, I was bit skeptical. I’ve tried a few other plus size faux leather leggings from other clothing companies. After those ended up in disappointment, I couldn’t justify spending 98 dollars on this one pair alone. When Spanx had a sale with a price I couldn’t refuse, I jumped on it to see how the Spanx faux leather leggings held up on this apple-shaped body. SIZING & OPTIONS OF SPANX FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS
What first drew me to making the purchase was the wide variety of sizing options. I’m pretty short (5’1 to be exact), so the fact that they had a petite option was awesome. There are also different styles including the Moto leggings, Quilted leggings, and even faux leather biker shorts. For the sake of versatility, I opted for the simple faux leather leggings.
Sizes run from XS – 3X with a regular and tall option, so there’s a size for almost everyone. Be sure to look at the provided sizing chart so you can have a better idea of which option is best for you. Keep in mind, these do run a bit small, so you need to size up. Actually, you should size up, especially if you have an apple-shaped body.

QUALITY OF SPANX LEATHER LEGGINGS
Unlike other faux leather leggings, the Spanx pair doesn’t give off that shiny, plastic-like look. There is a more realistic leather sheen to it. The quality’s also superior compared to others on the market. I can tell that these will last me and my thunder thighs quite a long time. The waistband is also pretty solid. Though I wish it was a bit more high-waisted as I need to pull it over my stomach when I sit down (or else it will roll down). The waistband does give your body the right amount of support when walking/standing. The most important thing to note is how comfortable these are, even though these are considered shape wear.

The faux leather leggings are a mix of comfort and style, so you can easily swap out sweatpants with these leggings for an instant trendier look without the effort.
The Spanx faux leather leggings are comfortable, has a great fit, great quality, and very easy to style, everything I look for when purchasing leggings. I’ve mentioned this earlier, and I’ll say it again: please size up when picking up a pair of these leggings. These do run small which is an issue if you have an apple shaped body. By sizing up, you’ll prevent it from rolling down.
