Fall Checklist 2023

Fall Checklist

Are you ready for autumn and the fall season? The first day of fall 2023 in the US is on Saturday September 23rd. Bring on the warm lattes, tall boots, and fall scented candles because it’s getting to that time of year again. As we welcome in the autumn season, check out this these 2023 fall essentials. Here’s the ultimate fall checklist on how to get ready for fall this year!

Fall Deep Clean

I’m sure you’ve already heard of spring cleaning, but fall cleaning is also a thing. A new season means it’s time for a deep cleaning too. Steam your floors (if you have hardwood), vacuum, clean the windows, dust areas like shelves and lamp shades. If you have a fireplace, remember to clean that out as well if you’re planning on using it this autumn. Get every nook and cranny, especially in your bathroom and kitchen.

Speaking of kitchen, clean out your fridge and cabinets and restock with all the fall ingredients and snacks you’ll enjoy around autumn.

One last thing, this is the time insects and pests will want to scurry into your home. Prevent by using pest control you are comfortable with to keep them at bay.

Fall Fashion

Fall fashion doesn’t have to be complicated. The key is comfort, the right layers, and the autumnal color palette. Comfort doesn’t have to be boring or sloppy. Switching out regular leggings with faux leather leggings will be a great compromise between comfort and chic. Pair them with a cozy knit sweater or a sweater vest, and top it off with a crossbody bag and you’re good to go. Here are more Cute Plus Size Fall Outfits.

Fall Beauty

To really get into the season, create a fall bucket list. Also known as a fall checklist, it contains all of the fall activities you want to do. A few examples of what you can add to your fall bucket list:

Fall foliage isn’t the only thing that changes colors. The second the leaves starts turning orange and red, so does my lip color. Go-to fall makeup look includes lashes, a bold lip, and the drunken blush look. Click here if you’re also in the mood to switch up your nail colors for fall! My go to bold, fall lip colors has been the Maybelline Superstay Matte Liquid Lipstick.

Fall Skincare

This is VERY important, especially since we’re moving into cooler temperatures. If you have dry, flaky skin, exfoliating and hydrating is going to be key. Exfoliate your face twice a week with a chemical exfoliant. Then follow that up with a very hydrating moisturizer. If you need that extra moisture locked in your skin, use a hydrating face mask. I’ve been OBSESSED with Ammu Beauty Glow Getter. This mask instantly refreshes dull, dehydrated skin, which will be a staple for fall going into winter.

Fall Beverage of Choice

You can’t start off a fall essentials post with anything other than a warm fall beverage. Whether it’s a pumpkin spiced latte, or a warm chai, flavors like cinnamon and pumpkin will get your taste buds ready for the fall season. Sure a psl is basic, but it’s definitely a staple. Having the perfect mug, fall syrups, and a good coffee maker is just as essential as the drink itself.
