Easy, Natural Makeup
Working from home caused me to do the bare minimum when it came to my makeup, and I’m not complaining. Sometimes less is more when it comes to what you put on your face, and this natural look is all you need most days. This is a look that also looks and feels good during hot summer days. Use these 7 tips and products for an easy, natural makeup look.
Tip Number 1: Have a Solid Skincare Routine
Ok, so this isn’t a mandatory step for that natural look, but having a good skincare routine with all of the right products for your skin type is so important. Whether you’re doing a full on glam or this natural look, having a good skincare routine is going to give you a good base to work with.
Tip Number 2: Moisturize and Prime
Apply a good moisturizer right before you touch any of your makeup products. This is going to give you a hydrated and glowy base that plays a big part in that natural, dewy look. Pro tip: USE YOUR SPF! If you’re going to be out during the day, make sure to apply your sunscreen. Sunscreen should be the very last thing you apply before your makeup. I love adding this Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Sunshine Drops to my sunscreen for an extra boost of glow.
Tip Number 3: Tinted Moisturizer or Light Foundation
Go for a light-tinted moisturizer or a lightweight foundation rather than a heavy foundation. This will even out your skin tone along with feeling like you have almost nothing on your skin. For a little extra coverage, use a concealer for the area that needs it and blend it out with a beauty blender. My favorite lightweight foundation is the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation.

Tip Number 4: Add Some Color
Now that we have that base set in, it’s time to add a bit of color! One of my favorite products to use is a cheek and lip tint. This lightweight product can easily add color to both your cheeks and your lips.
Tip Number 5: Eyebrows
You don’t have to go overboard with your brows, but cleaning and filling them in will make your effortless, natural look come together. Your eyebrows frame your face, so grab a pencil to define them, while using a spoolie to brush and diffuse the color out.
Tip Number 6: Brown Mascara
If you’re wanting a more natural look, opt for a brown mascara. Black mascara are a bit more dramatic. A dark brown will come close to a more natural look.
Tip Number 7: Dewy Setting Spray
Wet’n’Wild Dewy Setting Spray is the perfect way to not only set your set your makeup in place, but also give you that healthy, dewy glow.
